The DV Power CVA series is all-in-one test instruments designed for high-precision testing of current transformers (CT), inductive voltage transformers (VT/PT), and capacitive voltage transformers (CVT). Engineered for substation maintenance and laboratory testing, the CVA series combines multiple diagnostic tools into a single, portable device.
With its advanced automation, this analyzer significantly reduces testing time, eliminates manual wiring errors, and ensures maximum operator safety.
    Key Testing Capabilities
Current Transformers (CT): Turns ratio, saturation (knee point), burden, demagnetization, winding resistance, and insulation resistance. Additionally, it can calculate Ratio and Phase errors, composite error, ALF, FS, and Vb.
Voltage Transformers (VT/PT & CVT): Turns ratio, burden, winding resistance, and insulation resistance.
One-Time Connection: Connect all measurement terminals just once—including the primary side, burden, and up to 5 secondary taps.
Automated Relay Matrix: Switch between all 5 secondary taps automatically without manual cable reconnection or operator intervention.
High-Power Output: Generates up to 2 kV AC (50/60 Hz) for accurate saturation (knee point) tests.
Built-in Insulation Tester: Delivers up to 1 kV DC for reliable insulation resistance screening.
Rugged & Portable: Built to withstand harsh field environments in electrical substations.
